Advanced Werx Massage
What To Expect From Your Werx Advanced Follow-Up Sports Massage?
(Including MyoBlading, Spinal & Joint Articulations, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching)
This isn’t your average massage — this is where things get clinical, targeted, and transformational. You’ve been in before, and now it’s time to build on that foundation with a follow-up advanced sports massage. Here, we use deeper, more dynamic techniques to resolve dysfunction, unlock movement, and keep your body performing at its peak.
Straight To The Point - No Wasted Time
Since this is a follow-up, we already know your body’s story. That means no lengthy re-assessments unless something new has come up. We’ll have a quick chat to check in, then get to work using a combination of advanced techniques:
Myoblading
This soft tissue tool technique helps break down scar tissue, reduce adhesions, and increase fascial glide. It’s brilliant for chronic tightness and areas that just won’t let go. Expect improved range of motion and a quicker recovery response.
Spinal Articulations
This technique involves gentle, controlled mobilisations of the spine to encourage fluid movement through each segment, ease tension, and reset your posture. It’s ideal if you’re feeling stiff, compressed, or out of alignment.
Joint Articulations
Stiff or “locked-up” joints (shoulders, hips, ankles, etc.)? We use joint articulation techniques to restore natural joint play and freedom of movement, which is crucial for functional performance and injury prevention.
PNF Stretching (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)
PNF is an advanced form of flexibility training that works by contracting and relaxing targeted muscle groups. It’s a game-changer for improving mobility, activating underused muscles, and reducing pain associated with overuse or compensation patterns.
Who Is This For?
- Athletes and active individuals needing more than just muscle work
- Chronic pain or stiffness that doesn’t shift with standard massage
- Clients looking to improve joint mobility, performance, or recovery
- Those in rehab phases post-injury or surgery (cleared for hands-on work)
What To Bring & Know?
- Wear loose, easy-to-move-in clothing — we may be adjusting limbs or testing movement.
- Hydrate before and after — particularly important when working with fascia and joints.
- Be open about how your body is responding — we’ll adjust techniques based on real-time feedback.
- You might feel like you've had a workout — and that’s a good thing. Soreness can happen after deeper or more technical work, but it should subside in 24–48 hours.
This isn’t just treatment — it’s physical problem-solving. By combining hands-on muscle work with clinical mobility techniques, your session becomes a full-system tune-up, not just a rub-down.
If you’re serious about your performance, recovery, or long-term movement health — this is the session for you.
