Ever Tried Vacuum Cupping?

Vacuum Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

A pump is used to suck the air out of the cups and creates a vacuum. This causes your skin to rise and redden as your blood vessels expand. The cup is generally left in place for up to 5 minutes.

The increase in blood flow to the area brings all of the muscle nutrients to help repair the tissue. Vacuum cupping is used usually in conjunction with other types of therapy e.g. deep tissue massage.
